Yes, after you’ve been with us for 12 months.

We don’t lock you into a long-term commitment but we don’t give ownership rights to the website until you’ve been with DeftPages for 12 months (or have paid a comparable amount upfront). We think the reasoning for this is fair – a lot of time goes into building our websites and, because we don’t see a profit from them right away, we don’t give ownership rights right away either.

Once you’ve been with us for 12 months you’re free to take the site with you, should you choose to move on. Of course, by that point, we hope we’ve served you so well that you’ll stick with us.

We know that many businesses don’t want to (or can’t afford to) pay many thousands of dollars upfront for a premium website. Deft Pages wants to build you a site anyway and earn that revenue (and your trust) over time.

So we invest upfront in the relationship by building you a site for no upfront fee. You’ll pick from one of our many premium templates as a starting point and we’ll customize it for your business.

Our goal is to wow you with your new site and then wow you again every month that we provide exceptional service.

With all due respect to your friend’s nephew, not all sites are the same.

These days, it’s more important than ever to have a web presence that oozes professionalism – especially in certain industries like professional services. Customers constantly skip over businesses with dated, slow, broken, and ugly websites. Companies with a more impressive web presence convert more leads and can charge more money because they come across as “premium”.

When we say our prices are low, we’re comparing them to other professional web design agencies who charge an upfront sum for a website build ($5-15k or more) then many hundreds a month in ongoing maintenance fees.

Absolutely. Most of the time these are covered under our “Premium Add-Ons”. If not, with over a decade of experience building sites with custom functionality there’s nothing you can throw our way we can’t handle.

By focusing on only providing one core service (building websites) for a specific type of client (small businesses & organizations) we’re able to create systems and processes that are efficient and repeatable.

Is there a catch? We don’t think so. But before starting a project with us, you should know that after your new site is launched, DeftPages communicates through our excellent Client Portal (which offers email & chat communication) – we don’t offer phone support. Though we offer an incredibly responsive and helpful experience through this Client Portal, we understand that some people need to have someone to call. If that’s you, we might not be a great fit – no hard feelings!
